Client requirements

Grant Thornton requested DCON Safety Consultants to develop an Outline Construction Management Plan (OCMP) demonstrating the ability of the 73m €80m Exo structure at The Point Village to be capable of being constructed safely and without risk.

Securing right outcomes

DCON Safety Consultants prepared the OCMP that positively demonstrated to Dublin City Council how works could be delivered in a logistic, sensible and safe sequence. The project team’s indicative construction programme summarised the scale of construction activities that will be necessary to undertake a project of this size & complexity, coupled with the logistical implications of the works and their effect on the adjacent locality.

The project received a planning grant of approval in March 2017.
